AMAZING RACE @ CHINATOWN

The Hungry Caterpillars went on their own Amazing Race at Chinatown this Chinese New Year.  The children and parents had lots of fun searching for their clues, taking pictures, and purchasing the Chinese New Year goodies.  After an exciting race, they met up at a restaurant to "lo hei" and enjoy a scrumptious dinner.  What a great evening!

CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS 2008

The children welcomed the year of the rat by giving an outstanding performance of two Chinese New Year songs in the school garden.  They had the opportunity to get their faces painted and hair sprayed in different colours by our very talented mothers and teachers.  They also had a go at Chinese calligraphy, learned about tea ceremony and made their own "yu sheng" dish.

SCIENCE CENTRE 2008

In line with our theme this term, the children paid a visit to the Singapore Science Centre.  It was a great learning experience as they explored the exhibits of the human anatomy.
